PrintPower™ Operating with Tire Power

This section will guide you through the use of PrintPower™.

Requirements

A valid email address is required on the 'Customer Profile' window for PrintPower™ to email without additional input from the User. In Front Counter, go to 'Search Customers', and search for a customer. When found, select the customer and click the 'Change' button. Under the 'Customer Info' tab, make sure the 'Email' field is completed. Click 'OK'. If a valid email address is not found, you will be prompted to enter one during the send process, depending on setting.

Ensure 'Print Preview' is enabled (File | Print Preview) in Front Counter or Office manager, or make sure PrintPower™ is your default printer if 'Print Preview' is not enabled.

 

Once PrintPower™ is installed, it works very much like any other physical printer. To email a transaction or report from within Tire Power™...

1.Select the transaction or report you wish to send, and choose the 'Print' icon or button.

2.On the 'Report Preview' window, select the printer icon to bring up the 'Select Printer...' window.

3.Select 'PrintPower' from your printers list. Please note, if you are running this over a RDP or Hosted connection, do not select the 'PrintPower (redirected)' option.

4.Click the 'OK' button.

5.You may view the status of the job on the 'PrintPower™' application by going to the 'Status' tab if you wish.

6.If a valid email is not found, or PrintPower™ needs you to make a decision or correct an error, it will pop-up automatically to advise you of this.

TipsButton You may enter two email addresses in the 'Email' field on the 'Customer Profile' window in Tire Power if you wish. Simply separate them by a space, comma, or semi-colon and both addresses will be sent the documents.
